Required Airworthiness Documents
The following documents must be on board the aircraft to be considered airworthy:
A | Airworthiness Certificate | Does not expire if aircraft is maintained in airworthy condition. Must be displayed where passengers can see. | 91.203 |
R | Registration Certificate | Valid for 3 years | 91.203 |
R | FCC Radio Station License | Required for flights outside the U.S. | |
O | Operating Limitations | AFM/POH, includes required placards and markings | 91.9 |
W | Weight and Balance information |
Also required are:
- Serial number and external data plate - 45.11
