VOR-Checks
A VOR check is performed every 30 days, and can be done by the pilot.
They can be checked via:
- VOT checkpoint: ±4° allowance
- Radio repair station: ±4° allowance
- VOR ground checkpoint: ±4° allowance
- VOR airborne checkpoint: ±6° allowance
- Airborne landmark check-point: ±6° allowance
- Dual VOR system check: ±4° between the indicated radials
An entry into the aircraft's logbook must be made, including:
- Date
- Place
- Bearing error
- Signature
