- Macho: "I can do it"
- Antidote: Taking chances is foolish.

- Anti-authority: "Don't tell me"
- Antidote: Follow the rules. They are usually right.
- Resignation: "What's the use?"
- Antidote: I'm not helpless. I can make a difference.
